Many of my Saint Louis friends have asked me to keep them posted on my experiences as a Fulbright Fellow teaching at Yonsei University in Seoul. This blog is a response to those requests. I returned to Saint Louis on July 5, 2009; however, I'll continue to add photos to the Blog until I run out of photos or time.

On January 15 I visited Osan Air Force Base where I served as a medic during 1971-1972. A lot had changed over 37 years!

My son Jeremy just arrived--and left immediately to visit a friend in Japan. However, he'll be back in Seoul on January 19, and on the 22nd the two boys and I will leave for Hong Kong, Bangkok and Saigon.

There has been a tremendous concern about U.S. beef and its link to
bovine spongiform encephalopathy ("mad cow disease"). Our Australian friends aren't above exploiting the paranoia about U.S. beef.
